The Catarinense Aerospace Industry – ICA, officially founded in 2016 was the culmination of a project developed over eight years of research and development of composite technology.

This project was developed in order to provide an aeronautical component in which Brazil had no manufacturer, making ICA the first national company to develop its own technology to manufacture composite propellers.
